How It Works
Gallons = ceil((Wall area × Coats) ÷ Coverage per gallon). Default coverage: 350 sq ft/gal.
Example
For 1,400 sq ft and 2 coats at 350 sq ft/gal: (1400 × 2) ÷ 350 = 8 gallons.

How much area does a gallon cover?
One gallon covers about 300–400 sq ft with a single coat, depending on surface texture and sheen.
Do I count every coat?
Yes — multiply the area by the number of coats. Primer counts separately.
Why leave coverage blank?
If you leave it empty, the calculator assumes 350 sq ft per gallon, a standard default.
