How It Works

What waste factor should I use?
5–10% for simple rectangular rooms; 10–15% for angled cuts, closets, and pattern layouts.
Does this include closets?
Measure each closet separately and add it to the room area before calculating.
Is flooring sold by the square foot?
Some is, but planks often come in boxes with a labeled coverage per box.
